Holy Photoblitz

So Photo blitzing ended up being a ton more fun than I thought it would be.  I ended up taking a ton of pictures around my room of all of the different photos that were suggested.  Here are some of the best ones that I took in my opinion.

Start time

Here is a picture of my clock of when I started my photo blitz

Take a photo dominated by a single color

one color

I choose my bed for this one.  Clearly red is currently my favorite color since everything on my bed is red.

Take a photo of something at an unusual angle.

interesting angle

I took a picture of my Disney Countdown from the floor looking up at it.  I was impressed with how cool it looked.  I also got some interesting shadow to appear here as well.

Take a photo of two things that do not belong together

two things that do not belong together

For this I took a picture of my computer (which is a Dell) and my Ipad (which is obviously Apple).  I feel like people usually fall totally on the Apple or PC side of the spectrum but I guess I fall somewhere in the middle.

Take a photo that represents the idea of “openness”

openness

I took a picture of my window for this one.  Obviously there isn’t too much openness here because our windows only open about 12 inches.  But open is still open either way.

Take a photo that expresses a human emotion

emotion

This is a picture of a picture I have in my room.  It captured one of my swimmers celebrating after our team won one of the league companionship meets a couple of summers ago. When I saw this in my room I knew I had to take a picture of to describe emotion.

End Time

Over all I really enjoyed this experience   It was kind of stressful at the beginning to think of ideas for each of the topics but once I got going I found that the ideas started coming easier.  Some of the more abstract ideas were still kind of hard for me to get into pictures though.
