A whole clan of daily creates was due for these past two weeks. There certainly were plenty of opportunities to create different things, and ironically it all started with the word “create”.
To start off my two weeks worth of daily creates I ended up picked the first thing was to spell create with materials and objects to form the letters. Being a huge promoter of math, I decided to make it out of different math symbols. I really enjoy different math symbols and I created this using Microsoft Word and then simple hit the Print Screen button and pasted it into Paint. Personally my favorite symbol is the R because it represents all real numbers, and any letters that can be written like that are my favorite ones to write (especially the Q that represents rational numbers). So here was my final result, I really liked how it turned out.
The second daily create that I decided to do was writing a paragraph without using a specific vowel. Holy crap what a challenge!! I wasn’t sure that I could do it at one point. I wanted to challenge myself and not do something like the u because that vowel isn’t used as much. So I decided to not use the letter o. Crazy stuff. The thesaurus tool in Microsoft Word became my new best friend. I decided to tell the story of how I climbed Mount Olympus, which ended up being very hard since I couldn’t even name the mountain in my story! Here’s what I ended up with!
The next daily create that I decided to do was probably the one that I was the most excited about. Looking out the window that I like to daydream from. Well considering that day I jumped out of a plane, I figured it was a given! Yes that is right, over spring break I decided to be adventurous and jump 9000 feet from the ground, and let me tell you that I would do it again! The way that I got this picture was from the video that I also got. I watched it on my computer, and my print screen button was broken, so I used the program Jing, which I needed for my class. The shot that I decided to end up with has the shadow of the plane in it, I thought this was a good shot to see how high up I was and gave a great perspective to everything that happened that day. I jumped from the skies and I got to fly, who wouldn’t want to do something like that? Here’s my new favorite window.
Three down, and now there are only three left! The next three daily creates all happened in sequential order. I guess I was feeling particularly inspired the past few days.
The fourth daily create I decided to do was the take a picture of something that I collect. I don’t know why I think that rubber ducks are so funny, but I do. It all started when I was working at the movie theaters. There was a claw game that had rubber ducks in it and it was play until you win, so naturally there were a lot of ducks that I were laying around. I started collecting them (after cleaning them of course). So I ended up collecting rubber ducks. I think that the idea of a duck being dressed up in every day clothes is just hysterical and adorable. So here are all of my ducks, but they are NEVER in a row. My favorite? The one in the bikini!
The next daily create I did was to write step-by-step instructions on how to be a superhero. This was easy for me. While some people were very detailed in everything they did, I just thought back to what I consider to be a super hero, and honestly I believe that teaching is the most heroic thing that you can do in a lot of cases. If you have a passion, I believe that you need to share it. Schoolwork has always helped me get through different parts of my life, and so I thought that to be a super hero you just need one step. Teach.
Finally, my last daily create for the two weeks invovled taking a picture of the weirdest face I could make. While the new age of “selfies” is very popular, and I have plenty of different photos on my phone I believe that the weirdest face that I made in the past two weeks was when I went skydiving. I mean jumping out of a plane means that you can’t really control your face. So I looked at my video and found one of the best faces that I have seen in a while. It is pure elation while looking at the ground being 9000 feet. In fact, I was looking at a cloud since we jumped through a cloud. Seriously such an amazing experience, and I believe the face says it all.
Thanks for reading!
