Michigan Radio “Living With Cancer” Response

Cancer is a very difficult subject to talk about. Michigan Radio does a great job of discussing the complexities of Cancer while maintaining a serious tone. It was interesting to hear first hand accounts and especially how some people can find a positive out of a very tragic situation. It was very alarming to hear about some of the areas with high cancer rates. Knowing that there are babies born into this world that are not given a chance because the environment they were born into was toxic is horrifying. The radio piece did a good at portraying the severity of the situation without being too dark for the audience.
