A 3-part Daily Create Story

This week I did three daily creates, as usual.

However, in addition to our three daily creates, we had to form a 3-part story out of our daily creates and link them together.

Here is my story.

She waits in her room for things to change.

Thursday, March 21st

Task: Draw a picture of how waiting for something or someone makes you feel.

I originally drew this thinking about how you just sit around, staring out a window waiting for someone. I didn’t include a person for a complex reason that I’ve tried to write out multiple times but it comes out sounding rather sad, when that’s not what I mean at all.

I used Photoshop CS6 for this. Used a round angle low stiffness brush to make it look like it was a painting. I’m rather happy with how it came out.

For my story, this is obviously an alternate universe for my character.

The Lannisters were gone. Their golden lion on a sea of red would never reappear again in Westeros. She could reunite with her family and choose whether or not she would be married. She no longer needed to barter with her own happiness to protect her life. She could return to what was left of Winterfell if she wished, or she could take the iron throne and rule over a peaceful summer. And she could live under her true name, Sansa.

Saturday, March 23rd

Task: Create a world of happiness for a fictional character that had little of it.

My response was in third person of Sansa Stark of A Song of Ice and Fire series. Luckily, I didn’t say anything about magic, dragons, or direwolves, so we’re still in an alternate universe.

Her license plate after she returns home

Tuesday, March 19th

Task: Take/Create a photo of a license plate that makes you look twice.

To finish the story, Sansa has moved on from her terrible life and no longer takes life so seriously.

Yes, I realize this is from The Dark Knight, but I’m taking it out of that context!
