“How Images Think” Response

Ron Burnett claims that “images are mediators between all the different layers of what are increasingly complex image-worlds.”. I think what Burnett is trying to say is that images are what link our thoughts to real objects/places/events etc. that shape the world we live in. I am very interested in this visual section because I am very intrigued by images. I like the idea of capturing a real life moment within a single frame. I also enjoy the idea of taking an image and tweaking it slightly to completely change its meaning/context. Images can be created, manipulated, enhanced, distorted etc. making the possibilities endless.
