I figured this scene from The Matrix would be perfect to use for an alternate history creation. The entire movie relies on this one fork in the road where Neo has to make a decision between the Red or Blue pill. If Neo were to choose the blue pill there would be no rest of the movie or trilogy. He would have gone back to his state of ignorance and not knowing the truth of the world. Luckily we know that Neo chooses red and we follow his journey as he becomes “the one”. I found this perfect picture of the scene on google. It is the reflection from Morpheus’ glasses as he is offering Neo the two options. I opened the file on Gimp and then inserted the text towards the bottom of the page where it was a perfect place.
