This reading was long. From my understanding the switch from web 1.0 to web 2.0 involved changing the web from a business where companies decide what goes on the web to an ever upgrading service run by the people. It allows for people to post stuff easily on the web and share information from all parts of the web instead of just being able to go and retrieve information from the web.
I don’t remember everything about about the creative commons because the web page is undergoing maintenance but it also has to do with sharing information and pictures and what not. Under a creative commons people can use what you’ve posted to the web to help tell their stories or express what they’re feeling.
That’s all I have to say about Web 2.0. I’ll probably think on what web 2.0 is as the course continues.
