Virtual Assignment- Splash The Color!

Posted by

Color splash is a technique to emphasize details- you remove all color from a photo, and then restore original color to a single object, e.g. a green apple on a table.

For this assignment, I wanted to choose a simple picture that would really emphasize the splash of color. Although I have seen this done before, I had never attempted it myself…I’m so glad I finally did though! I used www.picnik.com and followed a tutorial through google. The program made this so simple and the results were awesome! It’s definately something I will be using again :D
