“What people think” is pretty popularly recently on the internet. I made one “What people think” of being a college student. I can’t say who’s perspective is “wrong”, since I do play different roles in some degree, but different percentage.

Process:

Since I don’t have Paint while using MAC, I downloaded a software called Paintbrush http://paintbrush-mac.en.softonic.com/mac/download   It is extremely easy to use, yet, Window’s Paint is better (more functions).

I used the typical black background, but different size of photos and various style of words.

Concept:

The first picture (left), which is the stereotype of good college students. Yea, I can see such people everywhere anytime in my family. I have a big family, most of them, from intermediate relatives, grandparents, parents, cousins, sister, are all extremely smart in academic way… Doctors, nurses, professors, architects, scientists (in NASA)…    Me, the only one who almost dropped out high school and thinking to stop continuing the education in college. Yet, I care about my image, and don’t want to lose my and my family’s face. That is why I gave a try for college… I tried to become one of them in the photo for my family. Well, I found it’s not that hard to pretend to be one of them…

The second picture, Jeremy Lin, Lin Sanity, is pretty popularly recently. The Taiwanese American plays for New York Knicks in NBA… Why this picture? Personally, I think he is a prefect role model for Asian Americans; graduating from Harvard, playing in NBA and being religious. I thought I could become a better ( and smarter) person when I said “Nah I’m Just a College Student”…

The third picture is from the music video of Wale’s “The Cloud”… Ha I never studied in high school, so my former classmates are surprised that I made it to a university and became trilingual(not including dialect(s))… Meanwhile, they must think I party all the time… Not necessarily wrong, but I’m trying to be a “good” student at meantime, since I can’t be a quitter who wastes the opportunity(s) from God…

The fourth picture, Though I have never cheated, my girlfriend always says I‘m ???? (womanizer)…

The last one, Yep this what I do the most in college. I am a person who prefer experience than secondhand information… Reading books may make people a better person. Yet, I assert that experiences shape one’s philosophy way deeper than reading… I have been trying to read since I knew I was going to be in a university. However, I always fall asleep during “study night” ,then it become “movie night”…

I would say, I’m not a dumb ass, not a lazy sod, but just haven’t been motivated…
