Assignment: Animated Music Video                                                                                   Worth: 4 Stars

This assignment required me to create a Animated Music Video or AMV, which is a video which includes some sort of animation, mostly consisting of cartoons or anime, and music with a similar theme. For my AMV I chose one of my favorite anime’s growing up, Dragon Ball Z, and included a song from on of my favorite bands Avenged Sevenfold called Nightmare. Here is how it turned out:

The process to create this was very simple, in fact one of the simplest assignments I have created, you can read about my process in a earlier post. To briefly explain I used, clips which I got from YouTube, I was able to download them with a FireFox add-on. Once I had the clips I wanted to put together I used Windows Movie Maker to piece them together; after that I added the audio and published the final piece. I think it turned out very well.
