As part of their semester wrap-up, University of Mary Washington students in ds106 (the open digital storytelling course) were asked to “pay it forward” by giving advice to future students.

In addition to basic training, we would like you to start thinking what this course is about. It is about an explosion of creative expression in media, on the web– from you. It is about making art, or “Art”. We’ve collected a few things to get you thinking about art …
