Audio Assignment: Listen to This!

Recently, I began having issues with SoundCloud so I decided to use this assignment as an opportunity to play around with other programs on the web. I tried a website called Vocaroo and luckily, it sounded even better. It did take me a few tries to get used to the timing right, but eventually it worked! Anyway, for this assignment, I decided to read some spam out loud, just so others could hear how ridiculous it sounds! I hadn’t even realized what a silly message it was until I said it out loud. Let me know if you’ve gotten any ridiculous spams! (1 STAR)

Once again, I decided to play around with Vocaroo to create my project! It was even easier to use since I had previously familiarized my self with it. Actually, the hardest part was trying to keep my accent going the whole time and trying to make my order complicated! It’s not exactly an English accent, although that’s what I was striving for. I hope at least some of my accent came through for all the listeners out there. (2 STARS)

Although Vocaroo was extremely easy to use, I still prefer SoundCloud. Aesthetically speaking, SoundCloud has a better looks better – you can put a picture and actually watch the sound waves. Additionally, SoundCloud allows you to create an account and save all of your files; Vocaroo, on the other hand, does allow you to embed your sound file, but not save your progress or work. I would have used SoundCloud,, but like I mentioned it was giving me some trouble and Vocaroo was the next best option.
