I chose to complete the five movies, five seconds video assignment. Although mine is over five seconds, I thought the outcome and reasoning behind it was worth it. I chose to take famous lines from my favorite five movies of all time:

The Dark Knight- The joker’s famous line of why so serious?

Saw- Jigsaw I want to play a game

No Country For Old Men- Ed Tom Bell’s famous line of what is the most you’ve ever lost in a coin toss?

300-Tonight we dine in hell!

Coach Carter- Coach Ken Carter what is you deepest fear?

Through youtube I found clips containing these five lines, and converted them to mp4′s by using clip converter. I then used iMovie to create a effect of in and out, and to trim out the parts that I didn’t need. I thought these five lines worked perfectly together because they all have to do with death or horror. Most of all I ended with what is your fear because it represents what the previous four lines intended. I thought this was a really cool assignment because it made me think outside the box since their was a reasonable time limit. It really made me realize how such a short movie, could have a big impact and meaning behind it.
