Let me paint you a picture of week 5.

This week, along with most of the recent weeks have been extremely hectic. I have been working two jobs, battling school, and trying to do dodgeball and hockey. I got all of my work done though!

The photography tips were semi-helpful. I run a shistey (shifty) photography business when I can. I don’t mean it’s shady, I just make money to give people quality photos.. for less. The tips were kind of helpful, I have trouble with depth of field. I tried to incorporate some of the ideas into a recent photo shoot. It turned out kind of nicely.

My photoblitz was actually kind of fun. I got my brother and puppy to help out. My brother enjoyed showing a wide range of emotions and I ended up picking the one where he looked the silliest.

The part where we had to spiffy up our flickr made me smile. I had done most of that when I started, the only thing I did change is the licensing that comes with my photos when I post them. I made it so that people could download them and use them if they give me credit.

I only managed to do 2 daily creates this week (I suck) because I didn’t like any of the ones that were available this week. The ones I did pick though were pretty spiffy:

N.

The bald head in my life, this is Nathan. He’s my mom’s best friend’s 1 year old. I love this kid like he is my own. Any time we go and see Tricia, she passes Nathan off to me. He’s so lovable.

This picture was taken for the Advertisement on the wall daily create. It’s really not an advertisement but this picture comes with a story. On Saturday, I went to a vigil for a gym coach from my middle school days who passed away. Some of the girls I used to hang out with in middle school were there and we kind of chunked off and snooped around the school. As we walked through the halls holding hands and crying because it had been 6 years since we had been there we can upon this. Our middle school year started the coloring on the walls. We wanted to make the school our own and we did. We couldn’t believe that they allowed students to continue the tradition. We literally stopped everything we were doing, hugged each other, and cried. It was a really tough day for all of us.

The best part about this week were the visual assignments. They were so much FUN! I had to over-edit myself, return to the scene of a crime, color splash a picture, and make a gif of my puppy. We also had to group together what we think is the best visuals we have ever taken. That was funny to me because I think all of my photography is fantastic.

My radio show group also took to coming together for ideas on our interview show. I’m super excited to work with all of these girls and Nate. So far we have meshed together really well.

I am super ready for week 6, bring it on!
