I used my “5 Sound Story” as the first recycled media I chose to submit to the ds106phonar dropbox. This was a media file that I created for an assignment that required us to use at least five sound effects to create a story. My story is a woman walking into a small concert venue and you heard the crowd chattering and the musician beginning to play.

I used “Fire with Woman Screaming” as the second recycled media I chose to submit for this assignment. This was a daily create I did awhile ago that required you to use sound effects to create a sound interrupted. So you would have one sound effect playing and then have this sound be interrupted by a random/crazy/wacky sound effect that had no place being there. So I chose to use the sound of a crackling campfire sound effect be interrupted by a woman screaming because fires are relaxing but when a woman screams, that relaxation is completely interrupted!

I used “Street Sounds” as the third recycled media I chose to submit. This was a sound that I downloaded from freesound.org for my 5 Sound Story assignment. I ended up not using this sound effect in that assignment because it wasn’t exactly what I wanted for a particular place in my story.

I used “Forest Birds” as the fourth recycle media I chose to submit. This also was a sound that I downloaded from freesound for my 5 Sound Story. I wanted to have the sounds of birds from outside but I ended up not using this because this wasn’t exactly what I wanted for this particular sound effect.
