This week I’ve made several updates to my blog. I started with 2 daily creates, one from Friday and one from Sunday. Friday’s was pretty easy, and I loved finding pictures to go with it. I hated Sunday’s daily create, but I had no choice but to do it because I waited until the last day. Not to mention I saw it after I had made the world’s most boring breakfast.
I also wrote a response to the two articles we read about Digital Branding and Social Media Strategy. My response was a little long, but I was really into these articles and I probably could have written 3 more blogs on those two articles alone. But no one wants to read all of that.
I finished with a review of Michigan Radio. I had never heard of it before and I had fun browsing the site and reading the stories. The concept is very interesting, and I wonder why I haven’t heard of this news source before this class.
I think I registered my blog with ds106.us, but it was a little confusing. My twitter handler definitely didn’t register correctly, because I am @bridget_hickey, but when registering it on the site, it would not let me use an underscore. I received an email thanking me for registering, but I don’t think my posts are showing up in the feed. My favorite part of this week was the discussion on the future of education that we had in Thursday’s class. I love hearing other people’s experiences and opinions on where it will go from here.
