“If you handle the blitz, you wont see it.” Paul Chryst

I started my photoblitz at 7:28 and finished at 7:48.  Because I am home sick and cannot leave the house I was forced to do the assignment in my house.  If I could have I would have gone to a book store or coffee shop.  I think both would have interesting options for the photographs as well as variety.

I enjoyed this task and found myself taking too much time thinking about the photos and how to create them.  If I were to do this again I would be more spontaneous and less exact.  I was not able to take a photo of each of the ideas, but I am glad with what i was able to come up with.  I tried to incooperate some of the tips I learned earlier and to think outside the box.  My favorite it the first picture I took of my sister.  I also love the angle of the owl, he looks so mad.  Straight on he looks scared.  THE ANGLE DID THIS!  so cool.

    • Take a photo dominated by a single color

Red

    • Take a photo of something at an unusual angle

Evil

    • Take a photo of two things that do not belong together.

NO

    • Take a photo emphasizes mostly dark tones or mostly light ones.

Dark

    • Take a photo of someone else’s hand (or paw)

Love

Here are some of the photos fellow ds106ers took for their photoblitz that I really liked.  I chose these because they stood out to me and made me think.  I could tell the photographers were using tips and really thinking about what they wanted their picture to look like.
