Radio Show Groups-

I officially grouped up with Kaitlyn, Kelsie, Brooke, and Sarah for our radio show group. We officially named ourselves the Fab Five.

Kelsie made an awesome A-Z photo collage that I absolutely loved, Katilyn did a really a ton of really awesome color splash pictures edits, Brooke did an incredible edit of current Trinkle and Trinkle of the past, and Sarah told and super creative street view story.  I’m already loving this group.  I cannot wait to work with them more!

Suggestions of Photography-

The suggestions we had to pick from this week were super helpful.  A lot of of these ideas were really good and I appreciated them.  My three favorite were get pickier, change my perspective by changing yours, and expose for aesthetics.  I choose getting pickier to talk about on the class google document because it was the most important one to me.  Here is my blog post on being a better photographer.

Photoblitz-

The photoblitz was probably my least favorite activity of the week.  It wasn’t so much that I didn’t like it, but I just liked everything else more.  I was pretty worried that I wouldn’t be able to come up with ideas for the pictures.  I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was once I got started.  I loved looking at others pictures as well.  Some of them were really impressive and super creative.  I was wishing I was more creative when I took my pictures.  I totally should have looked there before taking my pictures.  Either way here is my photoblitz.

Best Photo Set-

I had already done a lot of editing on my flickr page when I first set it up so their wan’t much for me to do this week.  I did set up a photo set of my best work so far in ds106.  You can read more about it and see it here.

Daily Creates-

This week we had to do three daily creates.  I did these three for my daily creates this week.

Visual Assignments-

This was my favorite favorite favorite part of this week.  We had to do ten stars all together and got to pick an assignment that we wanted from the ds106 assignment bank. I choose:

• Winterize It which was worth one and a half stars which you can find here.
• Valentines Day Caption Challenge which was two stars and you can find it here
• A-Z Photo Collage which was three stars and can be found here
• Cropped Signs which was two stars and can be found here

• Pick A Bad Photo, Apply A Vintage Effect And Write Something In Helvetica which was two stars and can be found here

Summary-

this was by far my favorite week that we have done so far.  I loved doing all of the visual effects and editing.  Honestly after this I wish that every week was visual week (and no week was audio week because that was my least favorite one yet).
