Weekly Summary

This week was spent mostly on visual design. I’m familiar with Photoshop, so when we did the in-class editing with it, I was completely comfortable. However, on my computer, I have Gimp, so when I had to do my design creates it took way longer because Gimp is not user friendly, and difficult to use the way you want to. If I had to do more, I would definitely make my way to a campus computer with Photoshop on it.

I made 4 design creates, and my favorite was my original create, which I took from the DS106 assignment bank.

I also made 2 responses to assignments, one of which was a response to the project Albums Without Sound (which was very cool) and the second a response to a minimalist poster I found on the web. Though this has been fun learning how to do design, I’m excited that we’re starting our last week and we get to move into photography!!
