Watching Movies With The Stereo On

Like when you have a movie playing on TV without the sound and you’ve got the stereo on at the same time. Take a clip from a movie, remove the audio, and add audio from a song or radio show that, somehow, kind of fits.

For this project, I took the classic scene from the Movie “Miracle” when Coach Brooks is giving his epic locker-room speech prior to the U.S. hockey team playing the Russians in the 1980 Olympics.  I turned off the sound for this clip, and layered over an audio clip of Jay Pharoah immitating Stephen A. Smith.  I think it works pretty well together, and is pretty funny!
