Suns, Only Abstract

Since the last two assignments were more time-consuming and involved (especially that tutorial. Thing took forever), I decided to try to find a more relaxing assignment for my last assignment of the week. I found the Shiny Like Silk assignment, and decided to check out the link in the description. I spent a while fooling around in it, seeing what kinds of cool designs I could get out of it, while just listening to some good music. Eventually, I noticed that if you just use colours from the ROY part of the spectrum, the resulting art looks like a sun surrounded by solar flares. See the resemblance:

sun2

sun3

I’m really into astronomy (and sci-fi. Chicken and the egg?), so these patterns were especially cool to me. They look like abstract stars in the darkness of space. Overall, this assignment was really relaxing, which is really nice towards the end of a stressful and busy week.
