    ChiChi the Dog

    by
As I mentioned in one of my first posts, ChiChi has her own Facebook page, because yes I am that obsessed with her. Just kidding! I created the Facebook page for ChiChi so that I can have an online database for things all ChiChi related. Why? Because I kinda wanted a place where I could […]

    Feliz Cumpleanos

    by
YAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I did the Spanish title again, because come on, this photo is full of Hispanics a.k.a my extended family. Like the previous assignment, I had to dig through my mom’s pictures on Facebook to find this photo. I then looked up transparent copies of a birthday hat and balloons which I then […]

    The Tueros Familia

    by
This is what I guess you could say is “my” family if you consider the people related by blood who live in the same house with me. Now many of you may be wondering why I put my in quotation marks well because to me, family doesn’t mean you have to have the same blood […]

    Two Socks

    by
Dances With Wolves Credit: Alpha Coders I chose the most recent of the movie selections, hoping to find that there would be more cinematography aspects incorporated in the film.  About an hour into the film, I already noticed patterns that the director seemed to be using while filming.  Using the tips from Becoming Better Photographers, I tried to […]

    What is Photography to Me?

    by
I went through a phase in middle school, as I am sure many of us do, where I thought I was a professional photographer and I hoped to one day study photography. But as usual, that dream quickly faded when I learned there was more to photography then just taking a picture on your smartphone. […]

    Point and Shoot

    by
I have never been a great photographer, or even someone who has had a nicer camera than simply my iPhone. However, I do think that over the years, I have developed some skill when it comes to taking pictures. This especially relates to pictures of buildings and landscapes. I have four of my better photos […]

    Oceans Away

    by
This assignment prompted you to change the hue of a photo to make a new world. This photo came out surprisingly well when I altered the hue. The original colors were so clearly defined that the new ones blended in as though they were natural to the scene. So, once I chose this color scheme … Continue reading Oceans Away

    Dingo Found It

    by
Riza and Tate are sitting in their dinning room, enjoying mashed potatoes with a side of broccoli when all of a sudden, Dingo, their German Shepard mix, accidentally turns around, and with a whip of his tail knocks over their photo box. Riza and Tate look at each other and instantaneously both start laughing. “Don’t […]

    I can’t draw a cactus

    by
My last daily create for the week was to draw a cactus with my eyes closed. This was super simple. I got a piece of paper and a sharpie, closed my eyes and then attempted to draw a cactus. I have to say that it turned out better than I thought it would.

    Daily Create Feb. 1, 2016

    by
My daily create for today was to draw a cactus with my eyes closed. So, I did that and then decided to draw one with my eyes open. Drawing one with my eyes closed seemed more challenging. But, unfortunately they didn’t turn out much differently. I am definitely not the best artist!
