Archives For this assignment, I chose a visual project. The purpose of the assignment is to take a selfie with your pet. This is right up my alley because I’m a member of the “selfie generation” and my dog is pretty much my favorite person 🙂 We had kind of a rough start because she assumed that since I was holding her, that meant it was time for kisses! This was my take on the assignment found here (http://assignments.ds106.us/assignments/the-eye-exchange/). I chose to use my friend’s eye and put in the symbol for Dalamud from Final Fantasy XIV in it, since he absolutely loves that game. Dalamud was effectively the source of a catastrophe in the game and as such serves as a large symbol for the game as well as a symbol of persistence and overcoming adversity even when brought to the brink of nothing.
