    Wow, ok, this was definitely a shorter wiki post than what I was expecting. My assignment was to write about a randomly-selected Wikipedia page. The time, 1960. The place, Rome, Italy. Birgit Jensen had prepared for this event for a long time. The Olympics K-2 500 m sprint canoe event. Iā€™m not sure how many of my readers have experienced rowing, but it is the pinnacle of cardiovascular exercise and can take a lot out of a person who is not prepared.     I have been channeling my inner Bob Ross all week, and after that GIF assignment, I need to remind myself that sometimes we all run into problems, which is just part of the creative flow.     Hey everyone, for my final assignment this week, I chose to do one that covered editing a GIF. I thought this would be a relatively easy assignment, but oh no, user bewareā€¦ I started this assignment by looking up how to edit animations in Gimp, which has been a helpful tool this week, but it is not very user intuitive.     For this assignment I was tasked with making a short song on Chrome Music Lab. The title of the song is Feed Me More Paper, and symbolizes the oppression of the Printersā€™ stuggle with a lack of food-supply from itā€™s cruel masters. The Printers are coming to take over the digital art landscape, no one can escape! I wanted to write a short little song in a minor key.     Taking this course has already been eye-opening as to what I have been missing out with learning how to publish blog posts and navigate social media. I have always been one to steer away from using social media as I believe it has become toxic in society.     Hey everyone, what a week so far! For this weekā€™s assignment, the video I watched was about a painting of an old barn. I enjoyed this episode and thought that the painting turned out well! I was curious to find out what price someone would sell an original Ross painting for today and found one for sale on eBay asking for $88,000! I believe that telling stories help lead to other ideas of future paintings and other mediums for art.
