    Tuning In

    by
Both of my Daily Creates this week were just little jokes that made me laugh through what has been a very stressful few days. Working on The Coroner’s Tale has been one of the most exciting projects I’ve been a part of for quite awhile. Our group hit it off right away, and I think …

    Another Tale Written

    by
Things felt quite a bit different this week than usual. The lack of assignments from the bank and only a couple Daily Creates were almost off-putting, but the replacement was nothing but a fantastic experience. Let’s talk about that a bit. Coroner’s Tale Working on Coroner’s Tale, the radio show

    Becoming the Coroner

    by
The first week of creating this radio show was all about planning. This means finding a group, creating a vision, conceptualizing, writing the script, and other general preparations for production. The second week, though, is when the real fun came about. This week, we made our concepts reality, taking on

    Promo Poster

    by
I loved creating this promotional poster for the radio show because it allowed me to create an image in my head of what I saw for the radio show in real life! I downloaded the photos from Google, and then on my iPhone, I used the app Collageable and added them all together. After that,… Continue reading Promo Poster

    Radio Show

    by
Here is our finalized radio show about Bob Ross’s effects throughout different periods and modern culture! We had a great time hearing the input other people had to say and how he has been incorporated into their lives. The radio show was edited on the Anchor app, a podcast software linked with Spotify. After the… Continue reading Radio Show

Creating A Final Radio Show – Weekly Summary 8

    by
This week was crunch time to get the actual radio show in the works, instead of just brainstorming ideas and making supplemental products. Gathering interviews and hearing what people had to say about Bob Ross and his impact was really interesting and one of my favorite parts of the project. It was hard to actually … Continue reading Creating A Final Radio Show – Weekly Summary 8

    My posts

    by
Hey everyone! What a week, I’m starting to sound like a broken record… So, Monday night, Radio7, the group I am a part of, all met up at the HCC to record our parts for this week’s radio show! The final result, I think, turned out well, primarily because of the planning that went into it! I don’t think we would have had as much success if not for that planning. So taking away this week with the creative process, I learned that for group projects to succeed, there has to be some time spent discussing who is doing what…

    are short!

    by
Hey, back again! I had a great week, and I am glad to be finished with 3 of my course projects, all due the same week. It’s relieving to have that in the past, but I am proud to see the results of my hard work. I did my daily creates over the spring break, so I hope that was not cheating, but it will be nice to get back on to that next week! I am looking forward to listening to everyone else’s radio shows. I am sure they are excellent! Till then, see you all next week DS106ers!

Here is the final version of our show, Death of the Painter. I included a Google Drive link because the Soundcloud doesn’t work. We have credits at the end, but I worked with Wade, Hermela, Jenny, Amy, RJ, and Ellie. https://drive.google.com/...
