Summarize a movie with Animated GIFs

    by
For this assignment I was tasked with telling a story of a film using only Gifs. I wanted to incorporate my created character into this specific assignment because I think it would be a cool way of physically showing my characters backstory. So I will be taking gifs from other films and putting them together …

So this 20 minute photoblitz was very interesting!! It didn’t take me 20 minutes though… I got a pretty fun list, and thankfully I was able to do everything right from the desk I was sitting at. I had to get creative, but isn’t that the point! Below is the list that I got. … Continue reading Abnormal

Just Because You’re Not Good At It, Doesn’t Mean You Can’t Enjoy It

    by
What is my experience with photography? I like to take pictures, but I’m not good at it. I love looking at photography art, and I love to think that I could do the same. My photography background is snapchat and taking pictures of my family’s dog and pictures of the sky. I took a photography …

    “Once Upon a Time” Review

    by
I decided to watch the pilot episode of “Once Upon a Time” on Netflix. The show uses a lot of fairytales and myths, so I thought it would be a perfect example. I have watched several episodes before and decided to rewatch the first episode. The show uses a lot of pretty scenery and uses a lot of lighting to indicate when bad things are happening or when the evil characters are on the screen.   This episode used a ton of the topics we discussed. I picked the ones that I thought were the best examples. The use of lighting was one of the most prominent features used. The lighting indicated a characters moral (whether they were evil or not) and also the general mood of the town/people. I liked being able to apply what I learned into watching the show and finding examples and seeing how often lighting, background, and the other topics were used. Until next time, Emily
