How Does This 80s Song Make Me Feel?

    by
I chose Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics which was initially released in 1983. Throughout the whole song when there were lyrics and instrumental I felt powerful and confident as a human being. Then, when it was just instrumental breaks I felt very dreamy and free. I definitely was able to bop and dance to the song …

I was worried sick!” Eleanor exclaimed. “Mother, you would not believe the day I had,” Hetta whined as she walked in dripping wet and shivering. “What happened to you?” Eleanor ran to Hetta, “you smell like caramel” she said with a confused look. “One of gigantors dropped something that splashed […]

    by
This week started out with creating my daily creates which we had to complete three for this week. I love daily creates because they make you appreciate the artwork around you. It also allows you to keep in tuned with what everyone else is viewing and enjoying as well. These post are perfect because they help keep me engaged within Twitter. I am starting to enjoy tweeting tweets especially the daily creates. I find myself excited to see what the daily create is going to be for the day. Our TV Past: Extras Edition

    by
I decided to study the extras in a popular 80’s tv show for this writing assignment. I simply googled 80’s tv shows when Magnum P.I caught my eye, a show they recently rebooted this year, so I wanted to see the original version. Now the assignment was just to watch 30 minutes of a show […]

For my assignment, for 4 stars, I created a logo for the Ice Cream shop that is primarily a big part of Season 3 of Stranger Things. What makes a good story? #storyanalysis

    by
For my analyzation of a story, I chose the Netflix series: Stranger Things, to take a deeper look at their representation of 80s culture. In reference to the article The New Digital Storytelling, this show does a great job of developing a thorough world through their use of fashion, pop culture, articles, clothing, and music … Continue reading "What makes a good story? #storyanalysis"

    Karate Kid!

    by
For this assignment I chose to analyze the animated gif. that was about the Karate Kid. Gifs are interesting to view and analyze to try and understand what the underlying message is. It could be a gif. about a movie, something comical, or just someone created it for fun. Gifs can have lots of meanings and the message is viewed differently by whoever is analyzing it. Photography has always been about capturing the moment. A gif. is about telling a deeper story within the picture, by freezing time. It allows the viewer to really embrace the moment being portrayed in
