Joe Goes To The Beach.. And Doesn’t Have Fun

    by
This week, I did an assignment (4.5 stars) that was to photoshop people into a different setting. For this assignment I photoshopped Joe (my secret agent) and his work friend at a beach. Joe is crying because his friend won’t share his toys and also he is just really stressed with work and finding Maria, …

When you first saw my title, were you confused? I’m guessing you probably were! What you see is an example of a secret code I came up with for the “Create Your Own Cipher” assignment. The assignment was to “Create your own cipher, a system for disguising a message by replacing its letters with other letters or numbers or […]

Kayaking on the Rings of Saturn

    by
For my third assignment this week, I chose to do a Design Assignment. The design assignment task was to photoshop myself into a different environment. I had several ideas in mind but when this one came to mind I had to do it! I had a lot of fun with this assignment! I originally thought of photo shopping myself snorkeling in the snow but it didn’t turn out as great. So, I played around and came up with many different pictures but by far this one was my favorite. This is a photo of me kayaking at the summer camp I attended this summer, in which a few classmates and I served as camp counselors to children at risk. In the original kayaking photo I had one of the children sitting in front of me, but I decided to photo shop him out for privacy reasons. Again, I had a lot of fun with this assignment and spent about thirty minutes playing around with different photos. I’m not sure how I got the idea of using Saturn but once I thought of the idea, I googled a picture of Saturn and saved it to my phone. I then went to my PhotoshopMix (a version of Adobe photoshop), inserted the picture of Saturn and began searching for a picture to crop on the Saturn’s rings. I originally had a photo of me sitting on the rings but once I photo shopped the kayak in there, I liked it a lot more. I used the lasso tool to crop out any unwanted space in my kayaking picture, then placed it how I liked onto Saturn’s rings. The way I placed the picture was to make it look like I was kayaking on Saturn’s rings.

    by
This week was a really cool week. I finally got to start creating things! First off, I was introduced to Daily Creates. This week, I did four! My first Daily Create was more of a doing than creating. To celebrate MLK Day I decided to suggest that people use their free day to serve others. …

    Tattoos That Describe You

    by
I love tattoos! If I had more money I would be covered in tattoos! For the process, I found a drawing of a sunflower then added a few more details. I then played around with photoshop, changing colors and styles. I am not experienced with photoshop, so it was a huge learning experience for me! I am not sure why, but for some reason I really struggled getting the green shade that I wanted. But I am still happy with the way they turned out! Do you guys have a favorite? Which variation should I get?
