    Weekly Summary (Week Five):

    by
Weekly Summary This week was a lot of fun surprisingly! I say surprisingly because when I first opened Audacity I was terrified of it. I thought it was going to be impossible to learn how to use it, but I was wrong. It was actually very straightforward and easy to operate. My only complaint about […]

    Long distance relationship

    by
I wanted to do the Long distance relationship assignment (2,5 stars), because my fiancé and I did long distance for almost a year combined. There were no instructions for the assignment, but in order to kind of illustrate what our LDR was like, I put together a collage. On a daily basis it was selfies and good …

    Week 5

    by
Week 5 has come to a close! The audio week was kind of a mixed bag for me. I do have experience with audio storytelling, between my radio shows and my experiments with audacity in my own time. The assignments were fun, but time consuming. I started the week with the first of my assignments, …

    DS106 Radio

    by
The drama on the radio followed the format of reading out of the book. It used music to accent the moment. There is also importance in the tone of the actors voices. When I hear it I think of the black and white murder mystery shows from the 50s.

    Daily Creates (Week Five):

Below are my daily creates I completed this week in chronological order: Is 7,801 ft tall enough? #ds106 #tdc2086 pic.twitter.com/JugBBxWrNf — Kelsey Mooring (@melseykooring) September 25, 2017 I honestly love this picture for many reasons: 1. It was taken on my vacation to Cali 2. It was taken at Lake Tahoe (one of the most […]

    Moon Graffiti

    by
Stories are a form of communication and communication succeeds by appealing to ones senses. Audio storytelling means getting a message across by solely appealing to the sense of hearing. Moon Graffiti achieved this. It explained itself with words, it used eerie space music to set the tone and mood. They tossed in radio static for […]
