I could’t decide on my favorite color because it changes day to day. I settled on this picture because I love turquoise, light green, and pink. Those are some of my favorite colors I rotate through. This picture of my door is dominated by the color white. On the left

You can find the list of photos that were randomly chosen for me to take below. This was honestly a lot of fun, but I had some limitations, that being I was confined to my dorm room on campus and the fact that its freezing cold the entire week :). The theme is blue. Blue […]

In the 20 minute time, I was able to complete 5 out of the seven photos. Show us some food: I took an image of a giant bag of lemon cookies. They are my all time favorite and I can’t imagine the joy I’d feel if could be completely surrounde...

    Stop! It’s Phototime: Photoblitz

    by
My family must have thought I was crazy- frantically running around the house taking photos. I managed to take all of the photos assigned to me in the “Photoblitz” assignment. I took the picutures and edited some afterwards. It was hard to get mindful pictures in 20 minutes but I tried my best! Start time: List: “Get closer […]

Where I live is SUPER boring. I live on a pretty busy road so there’s no where I can really walk to take pictures and I was unable to devote the time this week to get out to a park due to my work and school schedule. So, with that in mind, please enjoy my […]

For this assignment, we were tasked with taking seven specific photos in 20 minutes using the photoblitzer website. I had a lot of fun with this assignment! I liked how open the prompts were but were still restrictive enough that I wasn’t at a loss on what to photograph. It really made me think of […]

Hello, and welcome to my Photoblitz, started at 4:20-21 PM! The images are Imgur-embedded and contain their information in captions – Get close! 20 minute capture

Black and white photographs are a classic look. Take a picture that reminds you of your childhood Take a picture that represents wildness. Make a picture of death (but don’t kill anything in doing so). llustrate attraction in a photograph today. Make a photo of something you wear coat, gloves, scarf, hat, you name it! Forced perspective – make something small look big, or big look small. My room turned out to be the perfect place for this activity. I was a bit nervous about this assignment at first, because I’m pretty picky and a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to taking photos, but I ended up really loving this assignment specifically because it made me think quickly and challenged me with something I love to do (photography). I also love editing photos; I used VSCO, which is an app I also use for my own personal photos for things such as social media posts. I’ve been using it since middle school and it has never failed me. For nearly all the photos, I edited the contrast, exposure, saturation, highlight, tint, added filters, and I also added grain to the black and white one. I hope you enjoy my photos! (time: 12:51 – 1:07 pm) P.S. – I rearranged them from the original list and started with my most favorite photo to […]
