    Reworked Assignments

    by
Talk about a crazy week… The semester is officially going to be all online. Not much of a change for this class considering its already all online, but a big shift for all my other classes. Things have been pretty stressful with trying to figure out how things are going to work. But amidst all the craziness, I have been trying to use my work in this class to raise my spirits and make it fun.  This week we were instructed to revise, improve, or remix past assignments. I decided to pick two of my favorite assignments from past weeks […]

    Recreated Assignments

    by
This week we were asked to recreate 2 of our past assignments. I chose to use this as an opportunity to continue on creating my 80’s girl persona but altering my ds106 finsta; to function as her fashion blog. It also provides visuals to some of the examples she sites in the radio show. Check […]

    REMIX! Same Same But Different

    by
Its time to take a look back at two assignments and remix/upgrade/revise/improve them. My first choice came quick and easy, as the reigning tongue twister champ, I figured it was time to revisit this assignment and once again prove to the doubters that I am indeed the best there ever will be. To prove this…

    just dance (maybe i misspoke:revised)

    by
Revisiting this Visual assignment, instead of creating a poster based on quotes from a secret agent, I wanted instead to make a misquoted poster including 3 movies from the 80’s about dance: Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, and Footloose. Here’s my original rendition of this assignment: Here’s my revised poster: Here I have a picture from Flashdance, … Continue reading just dance (maybe i misspoke:revised)

    Redos!

    by
I decided to chose this commercial to redo and add some background music to help set the mood better. This commercial is used in our groups final podcast that will be airing soon. I grabbed this commercial from the free commercial scripts website. When I first played this commercial, I heard only my voice then I realized it needed something else. I decided to go onto freesounds.org and downloaded a nylon string guitar with steel string bass. I created this in audacity and I put the gain on my voice to an increase and the guitar to a decrease so

    Reworking the Alphabet

    by
Create a story that uses words that begin with the letters of the alphabet consecutively. For example, A big cat dug eight… But you have to go all the way to the letter Z. Try to make as much sense as possible. Or if you really can’t, then go crazy. Be creative and have fun!
