    Photography Phanatic?

    by
During high school, I would see my friends post aesthetic photos, but every time I tried to emulate them, they never turned out as well as I’d like. When I went on a trip to Europe with the arts school I attended, I took many pictures of the landscape and towns, but when I look […]

    Week 4 – Photo Reflection

    by
I have taken a lot of photos of the years. I started as a kid, when I was gifted a disposable camera and taken on a hike by my Grandpa. I took photos of trees, water, and animals. I had a great time, I was proud of my work, and it was a great introduction into photography. I still have these photos today. My next camera was part of Nintendo

    My photography experience

    by
I have an interesting experience with photography. When I was younger I would always go into my backyard and take photos of the trees and my dogs. as I got older I stopped taking pictures. Recently though, I have gotten a lot more into photography. I like taking pictures of when I travel and showing […]

    Photography Reflection

    by
I love everything about photos, I have for as long as I can remember. When I was younger my uncle gave me one of his old Nikon D50 cameras, and I loved it. I would use it everyday, taking pictures of everything from the trees, to my dog, to my friends. I didn’t really understand how photography worked back then, it was more of a hold the camera up and click the button type thing. As I grew up, I stopped using my uncles old camera but I never stopped taking pictures. I am constantly running out of storage on […]

    Photography Thoughts

    by
I take a few pictures every day. Some are completely useless and I end up deleting them. Others I post on social media or save for later. Photography is a beautiful thing. To think it was only a few decades ago that polaroids and dark red rooms were the quickest ways to get our pictures. […]

    Mister Photographer

    by
Despite the quasi-misleading title, I am in fact completely inept when it comes to all aspects of photography. I’ve always been the type of person to not take any photos and there are even very few with me in them. Although it isn’t really my thing, I have always been able to appreciate them as…

    Photography Style

    by
Do I have a photography style? This question has plagued me ever since I read the assignments for this week. In my mind, I just point my camera at something pretty and take the photo. There isn’t usually a lot of forethought on how the photo will come out or how I will use shadows…

    My Photography Background

    by
There are some things I would say I’m good or even decent at. That includes coding, writing, and math. However, I would never call myself a good photographer. A photographer isn’t just someone with a good camera that takes even greater quality photos. They are also extremely creative and express their art through their photography. …

    Photo Reflection

    by
My photo taking skills have always been pretty much the same. Currently, I do not take a lot of photos, and the ones I do take are of either the occasional nice scenery that I see outside or of my dog “Sushi.” I do not have a particular approach to taking photos other than to […]

    All About Photography

    by
I don’t know much about photography and its approaches. When I was younger my sister had a Sony camera, which I used to play around with. I do take a lot of photos on my iPhone but I wouldn’t call them really good but there pictures. I like to take pictures of nature like zoomed […]

    My photography experience.

    by
I love taking photos but I have only taken photos off my iPhone. I have never owned a nice camera that takes the extremely focused photos. I take a lot of photos now, usually involving my friends at events with me. I really never just take a photo to take a photo, usually it is with friends or family. I really have never taken a selfie before, or have posted a selfie on my social media accounts. I am a social photo taker if that makes sense. I am starting to enjoy taking photos of objects, or beautiful sunsets. This

    Photography and its meanings

    by
Growing up photography was drilled and ingrained into our minds. My grandfather is a huge force in this. Since he has retired he picked up photography. Alongside this, with the boom in technology over the past few years, the camera has developed into something that has become so easy to access. I love photographs. I […]
