This week was long, but there were some good times. The Super Bowl was great, which constantly went back and fourth, with Kansas City coming back in the fourth quarter to win past a double point deceit. I spent many nights of staying awake until sunrise doing homework, and ran out of food during the […]

    Week Four!

    by
Another busy week has passed. It is hard to believe that we have completed the fourth week of the semester! Unfortunately, the stomach bug got the best of me and I spent most of my week stuck in bed. Thankfully, I am feeling back to normal! I still have not been able to figure out […]

    4th Weekly Summary

I started off the week very poorly and I ended it quite poorly. I have been stressed out over exams, homework, and personal issues so I unfortunately wasn’t able to accomplish what I was hoping to accomplish, not just in this class but in all my other classes. Of course, falling behind builds to the Read More

What a week! The tips on Becoming a Better Photographer really got me thinking about being more intentional about the photos I take. Of course, it will be a work in progress. I started out Week 4 with a daily create asking what ice cream flavor we’d be and why. I initially took a quiz […]

This week I decided not to do a video. The main reason was that I woke up late and couldn’t record myself using the tripod. But I am going to go over what I’ve learned this week about photography. The post, Telling Stories in Photos, gave me some key points on being a good photographer. […]

This week has been my favorite so far. That is probably because of the amount of times I got to use photoshop. If you haven’t figured out I like photoshop so far, you must not read all my other posts 🙂 The first thing I did this week was reflect on my photography skills and my opinion of photography in general. This was fun for me because photography is something I love, even if that means just getting to look at others pictures! I shared some of the recent photography I got to be apart of so make sure to […]

    Weekly Summary #3

    by
This week was long, with me staying up until 5 am at times to get work done. I hated many midnight deadlines, but I got through them. I alternated between eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and ham + cheese sandwiches. The cafeteria food is awful, no pork, fish, or cheese, so I stopped eating […]

    week three

    by
I think this week I really challenged myself, and I have to say I’m proud of all the work that I’ve done. The writing assignments that I chose were ones I felt I was able to be super creative with, but I really learned a lot at the same time. For example, I learned a lot about what happened in the 80’s through my timeline, went back to the basic A, B, C’s and learned some new words, got to express myself by explaining what one of my favorite poems meant to me and tapped into my creative writing side (one that hadn’t been tapped into in a while). As for my daily creates, those were more chill this week compared to last. I think the most challenging one I did was creating a poem from the words that were first used the year I was born. I had some pretty random words, but managed to string together a poem that somewhat made sense.  I wanted to wait until the end to talk about the story analysis (or in my case, the film analysis) that I wrote on The Breakfast Club. I spent about three days in total on it — two days were me  just formulating ideas, and the last day (today) was me figuring out a way to tie all my thoughts […]

    Am I Doing This Write?

    by
Week 3 has been a busy and stressful week for me, with my internships and classes picking up, but I worked hard to push through and get my assignments finished. On Friday, I started off with my first Daily Create, which was to draw an animal on a picture of my face. For simplicity’s sake, […]

    3rd Weekly Summary

    by
My schedule was very off this week because I decided to sleep until the sun came up. Because of my poor decisions I have been sleeping as early as 3pm and waking up at 12am, staying up until 3pm and the cycle continued. In fact I’ve been awake for almost 24 hours today. Though I …
