Wow I had a lot more fun than I expected doing the assignments this week. My first assignment, I wrote about a picture from the 80’s and wrote as if it was a first person account of what was happening In this one, I wrote the terms and conditions of an apocalypse, with an 80’s […]

Here are my other 5 posts for the week The Role-Playing Game Postcards From The Past… A Story in Alphabet Assignment Write-Ups Story Analysis This week was the most challenging one yet. I think I am spending too much time trying to figure out the assignments, and instead, I need to let my creativity flow and try to relax, learn and enjoy. I did my daily creates and assignments first.

Thinking of Bigfoot, I think of legendary creatures like Cerberus, the three-headed dog, present in Harry Potter, my favorite series ever! So, for today’s Daily Create I chose to show how the legend of the Grim is shown in Harry Potter and the Prison...

    Week Three

    by
I started the week off my reading and watching the videos that were posted on the class site. I found them super interesting and liked that I was able to relate what I learned back to things I use everyday. I especially liked the video on the plot graphs of movies. I thought the video had a lot of humor to it which make it more fun to watch. I decided to talk about the movie Sixteen Candles and write a review on its storytelling. I love the movie so it was super easy for me to dissect it and […]

    Weekly Summery #2

This week was short for me, I was surprised that we had Monday off, but since I have no class on Tuesdays, it was a 4-day weekend which was completely unexpected. I enjoyed the night AI class, the Programming class on Wednesday was easy, and I enjoyed listening in the history class. I commented on […]

This week was fun but also gave me a good measurement of how much time I need to allot for the assignments. You see, I thought I would be able to finish these assignments pretty fast but when I started my first assignment on Tuesday, I quickly realized that I needed to make a good …

    week two

    by
Week two and I’m still getting used to this class, but I’m determined to be on top of everything I need to be for next week’s assignments. Regardless of feeling like I was falling behind, I had a lot of fun with this week. I love having the freedom to choose from the Assignment Bank and go about creating things in whichever way I see fit, and have no problem fitting these assignments to our 80’s theme. I find it pretty easy to connect with people through Twitter, and love to see people’s Daily Creates. I also try to connect by commenting on people’s blog posts for their weekly assignments and seeing the different ideas that they’re coming up with. For my weekly assignments, I think I had the most fun with the one where I edited myself into a concert I wished I was at. I had so much fun writing that blog post because expressing something I love so much (Queen) is so easy and comes naturally. It felt rewarding to write it and I even shared it with my dad, who complimented me on it and it felt awesome. I also had a lot of fun with the Pinterest board because it’s one of my favorite apps ever; I’ve been using it since middle school and I love creating boards that […]

I think I’m finally getting the hang of this course and getting in the habit of checking in every day. I love looking at my classmate’s blogs, everyone thinks differently about each assignment and I enjoy seeing everyone’s creativity. I like The daily creates were fun and were not time-consuming. For me, the hardest thing …

    Week 2

    by
What a crazy week! I can’t believe it has only been two weeks. This week, in particular, has been a rough one. On top of this class, I have three 400-level computer science courses and intermediate Spanish. The free time I have is extremely limited so I certainly fell behind this week. I foolishly failed … Continue reading "Week 2"
